Hi Moonzoey, thank you for taking the time to answer a few of our questions. We are fans and would love to know about you, your work, and your experience so far… So, what initially sparked your interest in art, and how did you transition into creating digital artworks and NFTs?
Well, I've always had an interest in art... you can say from school time, and I still do art in my free time. Most importantly, I am in a field of art degree which is Architecture. About the digital artworks and NFTs, I got to know about it in 2019. At first, I didn't have a clue about it, always had curiosity about "what is this NFT" and what people do with it. After a lot of thinking, I decided to give it a try, so I did. It was confusing at first, but then, little by little, I got used to it and now you can see that I got much better at making digital artworks. Whenever there's a new update, I try to work on it.

How would you describe your artistic style and aesthetic?
About my artistic style and aesthetic, well, it's minimalism basically as it showcases simplicity and clean lines. In my artworks, you will see that most of my artworks are minimalistic with a pastel color palette, which gives a simple yet elegant look to the art.

How do you think NFTs are changing the traditional art market?
Well, NFTs are changing the traditional art market by reaching international people directly. You know how much artists used to suffer before when they made artworks but had no source to share it internationally with those who are interested in buying arts. I heard that some artists are still not happy with the NFT thing as they think that their hard work is drowning because of this, but I think we need to understand that it's just a platform where we can share our arts to make a sale. I have seen many artists that make physical pieces and sell them here, some also use AI too, so I think this technology is good for us.

How do you approach the creative process when developing new artworks?
I usually take inspiration from nature and architecture as I'm an architecture student and I love nature. I also keep one thing in my mind that whatever I make, I want it to look attractive so that it can impress people and make them fall in love with it.

Can you highlight any significant achievements or milestones in your career as an artist?
So about my achievements in my career as an artist, I'm a member of a community that hosts daily contests and I won many of them. The biggest one for me and for them is probably a custom trained model contest. Many brilliant artists took part in it as well as me, so I won that contest as I made a model on minimalism named "Minimalistic Aura" that is now available to be used by everyone. I didn't expect to win it, as the other artists made such amazing models. Secondly, one of my artworks got selected for an exhibition which was held in Chicago in November, one was also in Paris on February 23-24 and one in #NFTNYC in April. Not going to lie, as a small artist these are the biggest achievements of mine, as I got selected in these where thousands of amazing and well-known artists participated.

What impact do you hope your NFT artworks have on viewers or collectors?
While I'm replying to this, I received an email that someone placed a bid on my artwork (Minted Magazine brings luck, editor note). The collector was so happy to see my artwork, he was shocked and impressed to see how I mixed architecture and minimalism in one place with some nostalgic touch. I try to put my imagination into it so that if the next person sees it, they too get the same feeling that I got while making the art. And I'm glad that my first collector also got the same feelings with my artwork.

A word on the importance of community and networking in the NFT space?
In my opinion, I think community and networking are important for us. When I started my NFT journey, I wasn't in any community nor had any networks, I was all alone. There wasn't anyone to help, support and motivate me. I started to feel less lonely, met really amazing people who are there for me in every step I take. They support me, whenever I feel low or unmotivated, they motivate me, share their ideas. If I'm out of ideas, they help me with it by sharing their ideas. So yeah, I think being a part of a community is good for us.

What are some of the challenges you've faced as an NFT artist?
As an NFT artist, I faced many challenges. I experienced things like how to survive in this space with legendary artists, and that if I work on a niche then what do I have to make that people will like. Then a problem of gas fee, mint artwork, list artwork, etc. And after all these things the main problem is HOW TO PROMOTE THAT ARTWORK. These are all the problems that I have faced as an NFT artist.

What advice would you give to aspiring NFT artists who are just starting out?
First of all, I want to say that you have to be patient, because sometimes you get sales and sometimes you have to wait for a long time to get a single sale. If I talk about myself, I waited for like 2 years to get my first sale. So if you have the patience to wait this long, then start by exploring your unique style and vision. Experiment with different mediums and techniques to find what resonates with you. Build a strong online presence to showcase your work and engage with the NFT community. Stay persistent, stay authentic, and keep creating.

How do you see the role of storytelling in the context of NFT art?
I think storytelling plays a big role as it showcases the value and significance of each piece of art. Artists can inspire their creations with depth, emotion, and context, most importantly, establishing a connection with collectors and viewers. Storytelling can make the NFT art more engaging and meaningful.

What are your goals or aspirations as an artist, both in the short term and long term?
If I talk about short-term goals, I want to refine my skills with different mediums. About long-term goals, I want to establish myself as a recognized artist, share my work with an international audience, and contribute positively to the art community.
